I spoiled this in the title but here goes. Decided to take a chance on meeting someone in town for business. We chatted for a few days, the vibe was really good, I thought why not?
Met for coffee last night. The conversation flowed well. We laughed. It wasn't love at first sight or anything but it was fun. As we were finishing up our drinks I got up to go to the bathroom, and when I came back he was gone. Reddit account deleted. Blocked on telegram.
My feelings are so hurt. Not even because I was into him. But because it's just such a shitty way to treat a human. He could have said bye and gone our separate ways. It was his first time meeting someone and I told him at any point if he got cold feet or changed his mind I'd be respectful and he insisted he was ready.
I've been on the fence for a while about why I'm even doing this anymore. Maybe this will be the thing that makes me stop. I am embarrassed and can't even tell anyone what happened.
