Is Auction Flipping a thing in the US?

Hi everyone,

I just want to know, is reselling items from online auctions in the US a thing? I’m from England and i’ve been doing it with UK Online Auctions for about 3 years.

I recently made my own tool that scans auctions, compares every listing with eBay sold prices, calculates a maximum bid after considering added fees/postage, etc. It then displays these and allows you to simply click on them, takes you to that specific listing, also a button to take you to eBay sold listings for you to do your further research.

This tool has saved me countless amount of hours and found me silly amounts of profitable items, even the most random things such as dyson hand dryers, professional lawn bowls and a portable toilet…

I would like to know does this sound useful in the US space? Please let me know your feedback!

Is Auction Reselling popular in the US?

Hi all,

Before I start, this is no way at all me trying to advertise.

I’m from England, and i’ve been doing reselling through online auctions in the UK for a few years now. Recently, I made my own tool that basically, scans a chosen auction, compares every listing to eBay sold prices, calculates the maximum bid to ensure a worthy profit after considering extra fees and postage, then displays them all.

This has saved me hours and hours of time searching through auctions containing up to like 1,000 listings. As well as finding me the most profitable but random items I would have never had thought of being profitable.

Anyway. My point is, is the online auction space as popular in the US? And secondly, would this tool be worthy for you guys who potentially do auction reselling/flipping in the US?

I’d greatly appreciate any feedback, insight into the US auction scene, etc.

Thanks!

Method to find profitable flips

Hi all,

So i’ve been reselling for about 2-3 years now, predominantly from online UK Auctions on various sites. After many losses and wins, I found it took most of my time to even find these profitable listings, let alone calculating the costs to ensure I make that profit.

So I made a thing. I called it BidPilot. Before you think i’m just that same guy trying to sell something, at least hear me out😅 It has served its weight in gold for me and I have eventually added enough auction sites that I think there are enough daily auctions to not saturate them and make bidding wars.

It basically allows you to choose an auction ending within 48hrs. Scans that auction and compares every listing against eBay sold data. It calculates the maximum bid to ensure a chosen profit after considering auction fees, postage, etc. It then only requires you to do the bare minimum research to check the item’s condition, etc.

Obviously it doesn’t guarantee a profit as does anything. But it certainly has worked for me and I will continue to use it for myself as well as allow other people to. Ive attached a quick brief video to see how it works roughly.

You can get a free trial to test it, and I also have an affiliate scheme if you would like to make some money yourself from sharing the tool.

Feel free to ask any questions, let me know your feedback or improvements you suggest!! Dm me for more info if you’d like, happy to chat about anything regarding auction reselling.
