Hey everyone, you don't know who I am, but I have a message.

Don't fall into the trap of chasing love or lust just because you're lonely or on vacation. Don't waste your potential looking for validation from strangers.

After I posted here, I talked to a few people, and none of those conversations went anywhere:

1. One person seemed interested only in casual sexting. I don't even know if they were genuine.

2. Another person suddenly decided to focus on studies and disappeared without saying goodbye.

3. Someone else had a lifestyle that was completely different from what I was looking for, so we weren't compatible.

4. One person seemed more interested in judging my college, phone, and career prospects than getting to know me, while staying anonymous themselves.

After spending 7–8 days on all this, I asked myself, "What am I even doing?"

During my entrance exam preparation, I ignored distractions because I had a clear goal. Somehow I forgot that mindset for a few days.

If you're around 20–25, my advice is simple: don't let the search for a relationship consume your time. If it happens naturally, great. If not, use your time to build skills, improve yourself, and work toward your goals. Looking back, I wish I had spent those days learning something new instead.
