Anyone do the big 3 on their 2.0 protege? I'm just wanting some confirmation on exactly where all 3 wires are and how much wire is need and make sure i'm wiring it correctly

I have a 2002 mazda protege lx and recently ive noticed when I go for a drive, park the car and do whatever im going to do, comeback and start the car; when I put it into drive or reverse it sometimes just shuts off and I have to put it into park start the car again but give it just a tad bit of gas and go and it works fine. After warming up it idles around 400-300 which to me is quite low. Has never shut off at stop lights. The weird thing is I have 0 lights on the dash and i cleaned the IAC. my question is what could be the issue? Im wanting to try a few things before I spend the $100 bucks to get a diagnostic test. someone did code read it so I will post that code when they tell me because I forgot lol but does anyone have any info on what it could be?
