What if Spider-Man had married Black cat? Is one of the worst comics I have ever seen.
This comic is truly terrible writing. I read this thinking, “finally I’ll see Peter and Felicia relationship expand” Nope.
Peter dismisses Felicia for wanting to get closer to him because she’s confused, and hurt why he’s still acting like she’s some risky one night stand- when they are married! He also keeps happy birthday letters from Mary Jane. They argue about this, then apparently, Felicia went to go talk to M.J about it directly and she was being spied on, some goons nearly kill Aunt May, they say it’s Black Cat fault for not keeping his identity secret enough, Peter asks her and she makes it clear she didn’t mention his name directly..
but apparently all they needed to do was realized Black Cat is talking to M.J. They then attack Felicia later and she nearly dies after they try to kill his aunt.
Peter then blames Felicia for this all.
He then goes to Silver Sable house to “talk to someone”, basically some therapy. Afterwards,
PETER SWINGS OFF TO M.J’S HOUSE LIKE A DICK , SNEAKS IN HER HOUSE , HE SEES HER NEW BOYFRIEND AND THEN LEAVES!
Not to mention the fact he completely dismissed his wife. Then Sand-Man shows up and with some other goons they attack Peter because they believed he killed someone he didn’t.
Mary Jane - then comes out and says “Spider-man would never kill” Felicia shows up and saves M.J from dying and then, Black cat is shot by some goons and dies,
ONLY TO FIND OUT THE GOONS ARE LEAD BY SILVER SABLE AND IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!
In the next 8 panels Peter is now bringing Silver Sable flowers because she’s his new girlfriend.
Read this yourself to see what I mean, or don’t if you don’t want to see - Peter swing to Mary J house (his ex-girlfriend) who has a boyfriend, while acting incompetent.
TLDR: Peter is truly insufferable here.
