the amount of pedestrians simply walking in front of my car with zero care for oncoming traffic is concerning me.
in the last year, there is a concerning amount of pedestrians just crossing the road right in front of me with zero care for oncoming traffic.
in the last year or so, i've noticed a LOT of pedestrians just walking in front of my car. not at a crossing, not because they're on their phone or can't see me. i mean straight up seeing me and a stream of traffic going 30mph and simply crossing anyway expecting me to emergency stop. it's actually scaring me.
in my drive from the shops this afternoon, i had to hastily stop 4 times in 20 minutes due to people seeing me coming and continuing to just cross the road anyway. more concerning is one of them was holding hands with a small child, and one of them had a dog.
even more concerning is one of the times the pedestrian just stepped straight in front of my car, i had to emergency stop, which meant the cars behind me also had to stop and we almost got into an accident.
what is going on? what happened to 'watch the road'???
