I think the motor on my carbon trimmer ST1520 from 2018 just died. I was edging with a 5ah battery and the motor stopped, the battery lit red. I took out the battery, and the power turned back green and I can use the same battery on my blower. But the trimmer won't turn on again. I thought the string was stuck so I took it apart, but the powerload doesn't work and the motor won't work. I can spin the head freely without any sounds so its like the trimmer just doesn't have power.

Tried it again a few hours later thinking maybe it was overheat, but still nothing. I tried another fully charged battery and still nothing.

Worth calling EGO?
