Reapplying after US Visa B1 refused

I applied for the B1 US Visa in February this year (the interview), and I didn't have any travel plans but I wanted to have the Visa just in case I needed to travel to US for a business event (I work for an US company, but under the Brazil entity. It turns out I was invited to an event that is going to happen in October, so I am replying for the B1 Visa and my interview is going to be next week. Since I had my visa already refused this year, I am a lit bit skeptical. I have a letter from my company saying that I will only stay in US during the event and then I will return to Brazil, but I don't know if that is going to be enough...I live with my fiancé and our dog, but it is a rented apartment, we have money (that's not a problem), but I also work remotely....I don't know...do you have any tips?

Viagem pros EUA - Visto B1

Eu tive o visto americano negado em Fevereiro desse ano.

Eu coloquei visto B1 no formulário. Será que consigo tirar o visto dessa vez? Alguma dica?
