He went from a ring pop engagement ring to 2ct emerald cut and im completely speechless

We were 18 when we promised we would get married one day and he gave me a ring pop engagement ring in his beat up sedan. We were broke but it meant the world to me back then.

Yesterday he recreated that whole moment at the park but pulled out a 2ct emerald cut ring instead. I can not stop staring at my hand, i never expected something this stunning.

diamond cluster ring recommendations or styling ideas?

My grandma handed down this vintage diamond cluster ring last weekend, and I honestly can't stop admiring it. I was a bit unsure about how busy the setting would look on my hand.

How do you all usually style yours without making it look too much?

standard width vs thick diamond band for stack?

i have been looking at a thick diamond band to pair with my engagement ring, but im worried it might look a bit too heavy on my finger. does anyone here have a wider set and can share if it feels bulky during the day?

What do you guys think of this heart engagement ring I picked out for my girlfriend?

I know heart cut rings can be pretty polarizing depending on who you ask. she usually prefers cute and romantic style jewelry, so i'm hoping this lands right.

The search is over! I was deep in the engagement ring hunt, and wow, I just saw a Van Cleef & Arpels piece that completely captured my heart. It’s truly stunning and feels just right.

Choosing vintage opal engagement rings over diamonds

I’m seriously considering vintage opal engagement rings instead of the classic diamond, and my family thinks I’m being reckless. I love how no two opals look the same and how much character vintage settings have. Diamonds feel expected, opals feel personal. But am I setting myself up for regret later? If you went nontraditional, did you ever wish you’d gone classic, or did it age beautifully with time?

Would you say yes to a lab grown diamond engagement ring?

So I (28M) have been planning to propose to my girlfriend (27F) later this year, and I've been seriously considering lab grown diamond engagement rings instead of a natural diamond. From everything I've read, they're chemically identical, way more affordable, and honestly look just as stunning. The thing is, I casually brought it up once and she didn't seem totally convinced, she didn't reject it, but I could tell she's always imagined a real diamond. I want to give her something she'll love forever, but I also don't want to spend way beyond my means. For those who've been in a similar situation, did you go with a lab grown diamond?
