Would you keep this stack as-is or simplify it?

The middle stone looks really nice to me, but I don't know whether it looks complemented by the details in the rings or vice versa.

What would you do with the stacked look here, choose to go with a smooth band, or do something else entirely?

Title: What wedding band would you pair with this? Male/unisex ideas please! 💍

Hi everyone! I need some help deciding what kind of wedding band to pair with my engagement ring I got today!!!!
I’m a guy and I’m marrying another man next year. My engagement ring is 18k yellow gold with a 3ct pear-cut moissanite and a 2ct blue radiant-cut moissanite. I’ve attached a mock-up of roughly how it should look on my hand.

I absolutely love the engagement ring, but I’m struggling to picture what sort of wedding band would work with the unusual two-stone/diagonal design.
I’d ideally like my wedding band to feel a little more masculine or at least unisex rather than a very delicate traditional bridal band. But I am open to options! I’m open to plain gold, thicker bands, different finishes, shaped/curved bands, or something completely different!
Do you think a more substantial men’s-style gold band could work alongside this, even if they don’t sit perfectly flush? Or would I be better having something custom made to fit around the stones?
Would love to see photos if anyone has paired a toi-et-moi/unusual engagement ring with a more masculine or unisex wedding band. Any ideas welcome! 😊

Please help! Text convo with my jeweler, I bought the natural VS2 engagement ring from him and now want an band for the wedding to stack, i feel like he is trying to upsell “Russian” machine made one so I want help here!

Please help! Text convo with my jeweler, I bought the natural VS2 engagement ring from him and now want an band for the wedding to stack, i feel like he is trying to upsell “Russian” machine made one so I want help here!

He’s a reputable jeweler and has great reviews in the middle of downtown with many other jewelers too and my fiancée gets complimented on her ring all the time

He says if I get any other one but Russian machine made lab one it will become blue next month and need deep cleaning next to the engagement ring!

Is there truth to what he’s saying?

$1400 a fair price?

This is just the ring, no stones. 14k gold, (approximately) size 8, will have an engraved design. Band isnt necessarily thick or thin (I dont have measurements). It will hold a 1ct center stone and 4 accent stones.

Location: Northeast US

Which wedding band? Or no wedding band?

I’ve been married for 20 years but just upgraded wedding rings and now have a 2.07 carat round lab grown diamond engagement ring. My previous wedding band doesn’t go with it. Should I stick with just the engagement ring or do you think it looks best with one of these 3 wedding bands? 2nd one is the same as the first but doubled up with one on top and one on the bottom. I tried simple gold bands and pave bands but they didn’t look right without the curve for the round diamond. Please let me know which you prefer - 1, 2 or 3, or without a band! Thanks

EDIT - Some people mentioned finding something simpler. I’ve asked ChatGPT to show a couple of options - will add those in the comments to see what people think. Thanks!

Is this a decent quote for a mounting?

The quoted price is $3,850 for this mounting

I told them during the consultation to keep it around $3000 if possible for the mounting. It does have everything my gf wanted though, the extra $850 would sting but wouldn't ruin me lol.

I brought the diamond in (2.5ct lab grown), I didnt include the price of it in any of the above prices.

EDIT: Size 8 ring, 14k Gold

Thoughts?

So, these are all bought, and no returns will be done. While I love this set, I was curious what others think, whether outside opinions matter or not, haha! There is a long story, but basically, I ended up with 2 wedding bands and had to choose which to use as wedding band, and which to keep as a later gift for 1 year anniversary. I thought the larger band made a better wedding ring for balance purposes, and the thinner one as an anniversary ring. Is it too busy? I do like it though. Pic 1 is all 3 rings together. Pic 2 and 4 are just the band and engagement ring. Pic 3 is the wedding and anniversary bands, just to show them each. After the wedding I will be wearing just the wedding band until I add the anniversary band next year.

What style wedding band?

I love my engagement ring, 3mm band, low set stone so another straight ring doesn’t sit flushed. I don’t know what it is that ai cannot find a wedding band I like to match my ring. I just wear an eternity ring right now but I don’t love it. Can I see examples of other ring sets with a slightly thicker engagement ring band!?

My new purple sterling silver wedding ring

Just got my wedding ring in sterling silver with a purple stone, and I can’t stop looking at it. The color is way more vibrant than I expected, and it catches the light beautifully. I love how it stands out without being too splashy. Never thought I’d be this excited over a ring, but it’s honestly one of the most fun pieces I’ve ever worn.

Rose gold

hi, does this 4mm rose gold band look good with my skin tone?

also, does 4mm seem too narrow for me (M)?

Which size band do I buy for my elongated cushion cut solitaire ring!

Just debating between 2 sizes of the same ring. 1.7ct or 2.0ct for my solitaire elongated cushion cut diamond! First pic is my ring, second pic is the size I’m going for, because I want a stack similar but we’re starting with the bigger one first lol, and 3rd and 4th are pictures of the ring from the website I’m buying from. But it comes in size 1.7 ct and 2.0ct eternity bands and idk which one to choose. Because I do want it to sit flush but I want a little bigger!

Bezel vs prongs , does everyday practicality ever win over showing more of the stone?

It’s nice when the setting is bezel because the diamond takes on a totally new shape when it’s oval.

And then there’s the day today wear aspect less exposed vs. more of the diamond showing.

When thinking about wearing it every day, which one would matter more to you, the protection that comes with bezel or the open nature of the prong setting?

Moissanite as an engagement ring? Brutal fire (2.5x that of a diamond), 10% more brilliance, 20% more luster (due to higher RI), repels gunk (dipolar moment), named after her favorite scientist, no cleavage.

She’s a chemical engineer who worked using fluorinated compounds in her PhD. Henri Moissan (discoverer of fluorine, and Moissanite of course) is her favorite scientist. I wanted to get her a diamond but this gemstone is just more “her” you know?

I love my beautiful wedding ring!

I just feel so happy and lucky with my wedding ring. I can't stop looking at it. What's your favorite detail about your ring still makes you smile everytime you notice it?

Possible to get wed-fit for this type of ring?

Based in the UK, where can I get a wed-fit 5-diamond engagement ring? Struggling to find one that is in this style but also wed-fit! Or is not common for this type of style to be wed-fit? Help please!
