What kind of spacer ring would look best?

I just got my wedding band and there’s an awkward gap between it and my engagement ring + the stones rub the prongs. What kind of spacer ring do you think would be best for this?!

Breaking down the different types of engagement rings

I’ve been looking into engagement rings and realized there are so many styles like solitaire, halo, vintage, minimalist, and even alternative stones. What’s your favorite type and why? Any advice for someone trying to figure out what fits their style?

Just got engaged with the perfect oval gold ring!

I’m officially engaged and I can’t stop staring at my oval gold ring! Still in shock that this is real! Who else is obsessed with oval rings?

Hunting vintage engagement rings for women

I’ve been looking for vintage style engagement rings for my partner and want something that is wearable every day. Any recommendations on jewelers or places that carry good options for women?

Thoughts on celtic engagement rings

I’ve been looking at Celtic style engagement rings and I love the knot designs, but I’m not sure how practical they are for everyday wear. Anyone here have one? How’s it held up, and would you recommend it?

Which stack?

I’m thinking about soldering my stack so that the wedding band doesn’t wear down the prongs on the engagement ring but I have 2 options, one is to have a plain gold band in middle and second option is to have a celestial band in between, Idk if the celestial is too much

Sturdy for work or no?

Having ring anxiety because I just love it so much! I’m a hairdresser so I’m scared I’m going to lose a stone! Is this setting sturdy enough or should I add extra prongs or just not wear it at work

Help me with my engagement ring re-design: am I over-thinking sentimentalism?

I've been going back and forth on this for a while and need some outside perspective.

My husband proposed with a beautiful natural diamond 10 years ago, a 1.5ct near flawless, round brilliant. It's currently in the original setting (a halo) and I have decided I want a 3-stone engagement ring. For context, my fingers are on the shorter size, I'm a size 6.5-7, and all the new stones I'm considering will be lab.

My current stone feels slightly too small to be a center stone in a 3-stone, but slightly too big to work as a side stone. I've always wanted a larger center (2-2.25 ct), but I worry the 2 ct + two 1.3 sides will be too overpowering for my short fingers. But I really like the idea of including my original stone somehow

BUT what I have grown to become OBSESSED with are old euro diamonds. I'd love to use true antique stones but I also know lab would save me a lot of money while still giving me that aesthetic

The dilemma is: if I go the antique lab route with a new ring, I lose the sentimental connection to my original diamond. I mean, my husband will pay for the new stone and I'd have my original stone set into a charm so I'm always wearing it. But again, if I went the 3 stone antique lab route....what if I had the small accent stones from my current ring set inside the band of the new one? Like hidden, only I know they're there. They've been with me for almost 10 years so they mean something

Would you:

try to incorporate the existing 1.5 natural into a new 3-stone ring with a slightly larger center

or go the fully new antique lab route and try to include tiny stones from original set?

here's the look(s) I'm going for

Just picked out a 2-carat diamond engagement ring for her

Honestly took me way longer than I expected to decide on a ring. I kept going back and forth between styles but ended up going with a 2 carat diamond that just looked perfect for her. Kinda nervous and just waiting for the right moment to propose

Rose quartz engagement ring surprise

My fiancé surprised me with a rose quartz engagement ring, and I can’t stop staring at it. Every time I look at it, I remember the exact moment he proposed, and it’s such a special little gem.

Finding affordable engagement rings for women

I ended up choosing a classic style with a small center stone, and it looks amazing in person. Definitely worth checking a few online and local jewelers before deciding on what to get

Just fell for a claddagh engagement ring

I wasn’t even planning to look at rings that day, but I ended up seeing a Claddagh engagement ring and just felt in love with how nice it is. Planning to get one soon.

My dream twisted engagement ring

Eyeing this twisted engagement ring for ages, and today I finally got it. Seeing it on my hand feels surreal and I keep staring at it every few minutes. It’s exactly what I imagined, and I can’t stop smiling. Some things just make all the waiting worth it, and this ring is definitely one of them.

Thoughts?

Currently getting resized so ignore that part 😂
But my MIL made a comment that it should be a straight band, just in case I ever need to take my engagement ring off and only wear my wedding band, and now I’m second guessing myself a little.

I never really planned on wearing just my wedding band, but honestly I’d happily wear this on its own because I love it so much. It fits my ring perfectly like a glove. But now her comment has me overthinking it…

Found a 10k engagement ring I can’t stop thinking about

Saw this 10k engagement ring and now I can’t stop thinking about finding something close to it. The shape is all i really wanted. I’m trying to track down a style that matches this look without going overboard. If anyone has seen something similar or knows where to start looking, I’d love some ideas.

How do these look together?

I’m not wanting the band to look just like the engagement ring. The band is also not the correct size, it would be a littler thinner and fit my finger

u/Correct-Active4410 — 3 days ago

Is there anything I need to do to this ring ( besides sizing) before popping the question? Ring previously belonged to the grandmother of my partner.

Mainly asking if I need to change anything to make the stone safer ? Or is it fine as is?

Searching for a platinum wedding ring for my hubby

My husband somehow lost his wedding ring, so now I’m on the hunt for a replacement. Looking for a good platinum wedding band for him  that is durable and comfortable enough for everyday wear. Any recommendations from husbands who love theirs (or wives who picked a good one)? Budget friendly options are welcome too
