Hello everyone, my bf proposed me yesterday which made me really happy. Everything was super nice except that I couldnt even see the diamond in the box. I always told my bf that I wanted a big ring and considering financially, Im not gonna make a wedding celebration etc so I thought I’d get a bigger ring. Without me saying a word, He explained himself saying ‘I know you wanted a bigger ring but I thought this vintage was your style’ which is true. But the size is… Am I being unreasonable, should I offer to change? There’s no one I can ask opinion for. And I don’t want to break his heart, he went through so much because of me

We were 18 when we promised we would get married one day and he gave me a ring pop engagement ring in his beat up sedan. We were broke but it meant the world to me back then.

We have been engaged for over a year now and he proposed with a vintage trilogy (2 diamond, 1 sapphire) which I still love but I was told I could pick a diamond ring and so I decided why not have two rings 🤌🏼🤌🏼

We picked my ring up from the jewellers yesterday. I tried on a lot of styles and while I am quite feminine, they all felt a bit too “girly” and I wanted something with more gold presence. And so I landed on this 0.7 carat diamond signet style ring with a taper band. It’s 18k gold. I loooove it 🥰

I’ve attached my original engagement ring too which I also love, it’s on my right hand now but I do see myself switching it up depending on my outfit etc.

It is a lab grown diamond. D colour. VVS2 clarity. I am a ring size I / 47.5mm / 4.25 US.

Hi ladies!! I am super excited to be getting engaged soon - I tried on a bunch of rings since I know I’m really picky when it comes to jewelry and didn’t expect to fall in love with two!!

I am having a super hard time deciding between a radiant or round diamond shape 😭 Growing up I always wanted the round shape - but after trying on a radiant I am wondering if round is too traditional for me.

The color of this ruby engagement ring is insane, it literally looks like it’s glowing in the sunlight. I wasn’t sure about choosing a ruby over a diamond at first, but now I’m so glad I did!

Honest thoughts please, I actually liked the smaller ring (lowest) but then the diamond is nicer in the higher ring. I’ve been told I can get the lower ring with the second ring diamond but unsure how that will look. thoughts

we were just having a quiet dinner at home when he suddenly got down on one knee. i completely froze because we had talked about marriage before, but i had no idea he was planning this right now.

the ring is absolutely breathtaking with the dark blue sapphire surrounded by sparkling diamonds. eight years together and he still managed to completely surprise me with the most gorgeous ring ever.

What do you think of the ring enhancer I added to my engagement ring today? It's 0.25 carat total weight. Do you feel it enhances the ring or distracts from it? I've included before and after photos. Thanks!

I totally misjudged her taste originaly, so my gf rejected the radiant cut and sent me back to the drawing board. I managed to track down her dream goth wedding ring that features a black sapphire setting she kept hinting about. I have the box hidden in my desk right now, but im second guessing if I should have gone with a coffin cut stone instead. Hopefully she will say yes to this one so I can stop stressing over jewelry.

Got proposed to last week with a bezel asscher cut engagement ring and the stone itself is absolutely stunning. I picked out the setting design months ago, but now that it's on my finger, I keep thinking I should have made the band thicker for better balance.

The thin band makes the center stone look huge, but it also feels a little fragile and top-heavy when I wear it. Did anyone else go with a dainty band on a bezel set asscher cut engagement ring and regret not getting a thicker band, or am I just overthinking this whole thing?

My partner and I recently found a potential wedding band at a pawn shop , $500, natural diamond curved band. How does it look? Should I find something else or stick with this band?
