So i bought a plain gold wedding band (not real gold) just to try out the aesthetics of it before buying the real gold ring for my wedding. But now i’m confused whether i just want a plain gold band or a band that has diamonds in it?

So far, the plain (not-real gold) wedding band has been the most comfortable one to wear everyday without it being rough against the skin of my other fingers (pinky and middle finger). Like now i finally understand why generally people chose to get the simplest one back then and even now. But modern couples i see on social media have those eternity claw rings, which idk how you are able to wear that everyday, isn’t it uncomfortable? I have this eternity ring which has bezel but the bezel has milgrain surrounding the diamonds. Would plain bezel be more comfortable than milgrain bezel?

i really am torn between getting a ring that’s really comfortable for me but it’s super old fashioned VS a ring that looks fashionable or trendy.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and what did you end up choosing? Would like to see your wedding rings 🫶🏻

Has anyone been able to get a job without having a linkedin profile/presence??

i’m curious because people keep advising to “tailor your application to the job description”. But what happens when your linkedin profile and your resume that you applied with do not have matching job titles or descriptions (because u changed wording)?

context: applying for spouse visa from outside UK

- Is it any problem if me and my spouse don’t have any shared financial responsibilities at the moment?

1. how often do you usually see (meet) spouse?
we only meet up when we visit each other’s country and then stay at each other’s place when visiting so technically we’d be meeting 24/7 then.

2. why do you not live with spouse?
i don’t know what to say here because we don’t have any cultural or religious issue, but i don’t live in the country so thats why.

Also asked about National Insurance number
i had gotten a national insurance number from when i was a student in the UK 7 yrs ago. Idk if that would still be applicable? or did that NIN expire?
