Got proposed to last week with a bezel asscher cut engagement ring and the stone itself is absolutely stunning. I picked out the setting design months ago, but now that it's on my finger, I keep thinking I should have made the band thicker for better balance.

The thin band makes the center stone look huge, but it also feels a little fragile and top-heavy when I wear it. Did anyone else go with a dainty band on a bezel set asscher cut engagement ring and regret not getting a thicker band, or am I just overthinking this whole thing?

So a while back i came across a marquise engagement ring that i told him too look at because it was special to me. It literally looks exactly like my moms lost ring from when I was growing up, which made me want it even more. Well, he actually listened and surprised me with it this yesterday! I bought the same diamond and posting it for y'all to see what L color diamond looks like. I can’t see anything different from my friend’s J color diamond. It has strong blue Fluorescence which probably help the diamond to look whiter. But no negative effect to the sparkle even in sunlight. But we saved a lot of money. For those of you who have an L color or have seen one in person, did the fluorescence make a noticeable difference for you, or do you think it would still look good without it?
