Rest easy Kaya.
We lost our beloved Dobe Kaya a couple weeks ago. He was 10.5 and was basically our first child.
He blessed our family with so many precious memories over the years.
It happened fast, a Kidney stone so large after 3 hours they could not drain the blatter, lodged in his urethea. Intestinal blockage bloated his tummy and caused severe bloat. Odds were slim after the first attemt and 12k for the surgery with no certainty with the blockage in his urethea.. We had to say our goodbyes.
Guilt with these kind of decisions is hard and I'll never really know if we could have saved you for a few more special years. 💔😔
I do know he was the best dog a man could of asked for. He went everywhere with me the first 2 years. Bar hoping with mom an I, at work you'd sit off center st by NW lumpia because you were tired of the warehouse. On our way down to Oregon we got pulled over in the "bat mobile" by OSP I thought we were cooked you gave him a big kiss and he let us off with a low ticket. You played so well with all the dogs. Our walks at point defiance, Ruston and South Tacoma. You had my back with people I was confrontational with. You were a turd but I loved it. We got another dog for you to have a companion and you were like WTF but overtime you and Jenna were the perfect little duo. Before I had my human child you taught we what it was like to be a dad, to be patient, present and to clean up a lot after you. Your snuggles your charm and personalty are missed dearly. The house is quite without you.. The memories are endless and I'm so grateful to have had such a relationship with my dogg Kaya Larson. RIP. ❤️❤️❤️
