City Recommendation 🏙️
Hey guys
I got lucky and got the POE, planning to go to Canada in the beginning of 2027.
I’m still doing my research on what city should I stay at, but I’m still lost on what would be ideal for me, so I wanna ask what do y’all think about these cities and if you have any recommendations?
So I’m 23 (M) Black European, I’m a homebody introverted, my hobbies are like music, tech, gaming and movies. I have no university degree or diploma, but I’ve worked in retail, restocking, at the airport and customer support. My true passion is music and I want to be a music producer. But for now I have to go with a entry level job, I would like to work at cineplex or Rogers, Telus, Best Buy or a supermarket
So now these are the cities that I’m interested in.
🏙️Metro Vancouver Area - love the vibes, water and mountain looks perfect, reminds me of LA but from what I’ve seen there’s not much music industry and is expensive
🏙️Toronto - looks amazing, modern American mixed with classical European style, good music scene, diversity, but maybe too busy, kinda cold, still expensive
🏙️Halifax - cheaper, nice coastal areas, but maybe not to much opportunity for jobs and housing
🏙️Ottawa - looks good, clean, European architecture, cheaper than Vancouver or Toronto, but maybe not the best for my interests
