Mucous is back on neocate

My 4m (adjusted) baby has been so crabby and uncomfortable her whole life. Finally saw a pediatrician last week who looked at the poop photos and agreed it looks like CMPI. We already were on Nutramigen so she recommended we go on to Neocate.

It has been an exceedingly expensive week 🥲. But she seemed better. She is also on lansoprazole for reflux.

Yesterday she was very crabby and today the mucous is back.

What now? I am tempted to switch to either rice or soy formula because I am losing my mind from her screaming all day and general lack of sleep. Or do I stick it out?

Our next peds appointment isnt until June.

My 4m has been on Nutrimagen for about 1.5m. She is still so crabby and angry and furious and uncomfortable. Her poop is pale colored, kinda crumbly but more interestingly it has mucous strings again.

Is this the point to consider amino acid formulas? Reflux meds? First doctor blew me off today but we have a second opinion tomorrow. I just want her to be a happy baby 😭
