Lost My First Spood

Like the title says, I lost my first spood... i have a few tarantulas on my desk, including two small slings- a P. Irminia and a Abivularia Purpurea. Last week one of the cats knocked the purpurea's enclosure off the desk, and she fell all the way to the floor. I found her, she hadn't moved though everything in her enclosure was all over the place. It was like she was stunned... i picked her up and she was crawling around my hand and I thought miraculously she would pull through. She is so small though, that if she was "bleeding" I wouldn't even be able to tell. When I put her back she wasn't acting right for a few days- not moving around a lot like normal. Then she refused her food for the first time. This morning she was in a death curl. I want to cry... she was so little but she was one of my faves with how "out and about" she was and I loved watching her every day... i didn't think losing a sling would hurt this bad... i want to share about it but people just say "its just a spider." But she wasnt just a spider. I remember the joy the first time she molted with me... i just feel awful. I moved the other small sling to a better protected spot.

Haven't started T or anything, but up next is microblading for bigger more masculine eyebrows- my 90's era overplucked brows drive me nuts!
