hello, i am starting my rad tech schooling. i was wondering if anyone had any insight of how realistic it is to be cross trained in MRI in the atl area (or ga as a whole) i would like this to be my main modality and to be cross trained and then get my certification. or do you think i should do an online mri course ?

exactly what the title says! everyday i’m learning more about what you can do as a Rad Tech after getting you arrt. I feel like going into this i only thought you could do x ray, ct, mri, and mammography. but i’ve learned about cath/ep lab and im wondering what else there is you can do after the arrt !

so please tell me what do you do, how long it took you to get there, and what exactly you did to make it where you are !
