Im Canadian and I’m currently in Australia on an ETA. I’m really interested in applying for a Working Holiday Visa but I have a couple of questions and was hoping someone here might have experience with this

Has anyone applied for the Working Holiday Visa while already being in Australia on an ETA? If so, did your application get approved while you were still in the country or did you have to leave Australia and wait for it to be approved before coming back?

I’ve heard mixed things so I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this process or knows how it works
