Scolopendra multidens
Hey y'all, new to having invertebrates. I'm setting up an enclosure for our new addition to the family, a Scolopendra multidens 'Yellow Leg' (Chinese Beauty Centipede) and I'm running into a looooot of conflicting information online vs reddit. Many places only say to use coconut fibre substrate but the consensus on reddit is NO. I've seen some people say they they use sand? Is peat moss also out or do y'all mix it with other things?
For their enclosure, we bought this glass {not tempered according to the exo terra site} that my husband and I will be drilling {he has drilled holes in glass in the past so he has the tools needed} for proper ventilation. Is this okay? It's kind of too late to get a different enclosure but will figure something out if our modifications are not the right fit for them.
Also, I've seen people say they feed their centipede fruit like once a month? They are only 4" so we were only planning on giving them superworms in the meantime as I feel like they are too small for dubia roaches but I do want to give them a variety of food.
