Favorite In-Cage Bath?

I recently got a canary about 3-4 weeks ago. I’m slowly making upgrades and I would like to get a really nice bath for my baby. Right now I’m using a Tupperware (😬) while she has her out-of-cage time and strictly monitored.

Any suggestions for a nice in-cage option? I see those “shower” types with the running fountain but not sure if they have any advantages over the clip-on attachments, or just standard baths, etc.

New Owner - Input Welcome

Hi guys - I recently got a canary, kind of by accident. I’m assuming it was somebody’s but escaped - it was coming to feed at my outdoor window bird feeders for a week or so. I got a cage for it from Facebook Marketplace (30” W x 30” L x 36”-ish high, not counting the wheels) since I wasn’t sure if I would be able to catch it.

Well, I did! I’m now the proud owner of my little canary friend. This is my first bird and looking for a some information:

She (or he, but she just chirps but not really long bouts of singing, but still might be nervous since it’s only been 1 week with me) seems to wipe her beak on the perches. I have 2-3 difference cuttle stones or mineral block things for her to chew on. Is this normal or should I look for something else to help with this?

Do I schedule a wellness exam with an avian vet? How do I prepare for this since she’s far from tame yet. What would I even expect at the vet if I did take it? Since it was presumably living “in the wild” for a couple of weeks at least, I’d like to make sure that it didn’t pick anything up that could be harmful since birds are fragile (from what I’ve read up on so far).

Any opinions, suggestions, or stories from your own experience are appreciated - thank you!!
