Bhima Gold – BIS HUID verification doesn't show their name.

I recently purchased a Kada from Bhima Gold and decided to verify it on the BIS Care app using the HUID as I usually do for all my gold purchases.

The verification did return results – article type shows as Bangles, purity is 22K/916, and date of hallmarking is 16-Apr-2025 – so the HUID is valid. However, the jeweller name associated with the registration number does NOT show as Bhima Gold, unlike all my previous purchases from them where it clearly displayed the Bhima Gold name.

This is making me a little uneasy about the authenticity of this piece.

My questions to the community:

  1. Has anyone else bought jewellery from Bhima Gold and verified the HUID? Does yours show the Bhima Gold name clearly?

  2. Is there a way to identify the name of the jeweller against the registration number?

  3. Should I be worried, or is this a known quirk with how some retailers are registered with BIS?

I've already reached out to Bhima Gold's support team, but wanted to hear from the community in the meantime. Would really appreciate any insights from people who have bought from them or have experience with BIS hallmark verification.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Hey everyone,

I’m stuck in a bit of an EPF loop and need some advice from anyone who has successfully navigated the "Field Officer" route.

The Situation:

- I have two UANs. My current one is perfectly active and KYC-compliant.

- My first UAN (from 2010) is the problem. It does not have Aadhaar seeded.

- My first employer is long gone—the company is officially closed/defunct.

The Problem:

When I try to log in to the old UAN portal to link my Aadhaar or initiate a transfer, I get the error: "Aadhaar is not seeded. Contact employer or EPFO Field Officer." Since there is no employer to sign off on the KYC, I’m stuck.

My Questions:

1. Since the company is closed, how do I get my Aadhaar seeded so I can merge this with my current UAN?

  1. Has anyone successfully used Form 13 (offline) or the Joint Declaration Form in this scenario?

  2. How do I actually find and approach the right "Field Officer"? Do I just show up at the EPFO office?

  3. What documents will I need to prove my identity and previous employment since the company can't verify me?

Appreciate any leads or "hacks" to get this sorted without losing my mind in govt offices!
