If we assume Roy was saved and not killed, do you think the reason Subaru is being cornered this way is because Roy knows about Rbd?

didn't want to spoil anything in the title. do we have any idea what Roswaal and Clind did to Fredrica in arc 9? I think it was never brought up in the main story but idk about any side stories

I find this detail the most important detail from the latest if story (is it petra if or melancholy if?)

Because, what do you mean Roswaal knows this isn't the main timeline? What even defines the main timeline? Because just as we saw in the if story, Subaru never actually redid things there.

And it's interesting that, none of the main villains or mysterious figures of the past EVER show up in these if stories, as if they're not interested in something boring as a "non-canon timeline". So how and why exactly do they know the true timelines from the fake ones.

And it also brings the question, which is what do we even know about Roswaal? At this point, I feel like he never actually cared about his tome being burnt, he never even needed it anyways. And what's that about killing the dragon? he already did + has its dragonhusk, yet he didn't do anything worth noting in that timeline?..

My question is, how do you think his character is after Vollachia? I haven't read arc 8 for a long time by now, but we all know how he was built different and how much confidence he had. Do you think it's still with him right now? The philosophy of the strongest being is himself, and that loss is not acceptable whatsoever? I know being at different ages can change a lot of the inner psychology, but if he did actually learn something there then it must have stayed regardless. ​

I honestly have trusted Tappei very much from start to end so far and it has always paid off, but I still want to hear your thoughts. ​​
