[discussion] Do all the astreas’ have the ability to grow over 50 ft tall and gain laser vision or is it just Reid?

I know Reinhard is busted but I haven’t seen him use this technique before. so I wasn’t sure if it‘s hereditary or if it’s just something Reid can do.

[spoiler discussion] Could Emilia and Satella have the same father?

We know Emilia got her looks mostly from her father's side, who is assumed to be a full elf. She got her kind face from her mother, which is the only resemblance to her. Since her father is a full elf, he is technically immortal. Fortuna's age is also unknown, but she is probably the younger sister to her brother. Their parents are full elves, so they could have had both children at any point in time.

Satella and Emilia look very similar, but I think Satella doesn't have Emilia's kind face. This could mean they have the same father, but not the same mother. Since their mothers were both humans, they obviously would have died due to age or in an accident.

What's also interesting to me is the resemblance in some elves, who can inhabit souls and witch factors. Some prime examples are Fortuna (possibly Sirius), Satella (WoE) and Shion (Lilac).

EDIT: Some contradictions/additions:

Puck and Echidna seemed to know of Emilia 400 years ago. Puck was created and tasked by Echidna to protect Emilia.

Puck is probably Emilia's father turned spirit.

Emilia's parents could have died/disappeared in any point in time, hints going towards Pandora killing them.

Emilia's real age in unknown, except to Alec Hoshin and maybe Echidna.

[spoiler discussion] how was Subaru able to defeat defeat Al in the pride if route?

I just saw a youtube short that explain the Pride route and the condition to make Emilia the king was to eliminate all the factions.

From various spoiler I come to know that Al is basically broken with an active authority similar to subaru's rbd and all magic.

How was he defeated?

From a tik tok comment I was spoiled that [Novel] >!Priscilla dies at the end of arc 8!< and I honestly don’t know how to feel
I really don’t know how to feel, having read arc 6 and 7 has been amazing and this story is probably my favourite thing ever so I feel so mad at being spoiled on such an important event
If anyone has an idea as to how to forget some thing like this then that would be well appreciated, I would go to any length as to get to enjoy this story totally blind

[OC] I made a fanart after watching 2 seasons nonstop

I tried to watch Re:Zero about a year ago and it didn't end up well, but recently I tried it again and now i'm obsessed and watching it nonstop, hopefully I will get to the season 4 soon.

PS: I prefer draw digitally, but rn i'm in the military hospital and this is all I can do here, I will definetely do more re:zero related drawings later :)

I read that Tappei indicated how Capella is the one Archbishop that could be redeemed. What do you think: will Subaru try the "I can fix her" route?

I personally think he won't, as Tappei also mentioned there are about two and a half arcs left (10,11,12) and Subaru already has three people he promised to save, beside his hatred for Witch Cultists. Spica was an exception due to a series of circumstances, I gather.

Still, arc 10 is shaping up in a specific direction so... If the moment is ever to come, that moment is hastily approaching.

What are your opinions? Did Tappei answer a similar question in one of his many Q&A?

[Discussion] How many EX novels should i read as an anime only?

Currently an anime only and ive heard about arc 7 having alot of the newer characters (whom i dont know yet) backstories or whatever in the EX novels. even if thats not true, i would still like to start reading them, but im not sure which ones and up to what point. which ones should i read?
