Hi, I'm a single mum with my daughter's room covered in artex (tested not asbestos).

I'm thinking of panelling the bottom half in tongue and groove and the top using a compound to level it and paint it pink.

Ceiling I think may be beyond my skill levels.

I am a bit lost looking at all the panelling what to get. I was thinking MDF for ease.

Ideally I'd like 80cm high.

The walls are (in cm):

210 (but window and radiator)

220

Any advice / examples / links very much appreciated.
