Ok so I've had a 23 year Onyko TX-NR801 reciver that just died. It was so old it didn't even have HDMI, so I just ran everything though OPT cords. Anyway, I'm replacing it with a fairly cheap Denon 7.1 system, that supports Dolby Atmos so I'm starting to wonder about upgrading the 5.1 system to a 5.1.2 system.

One issue is that my room is pretty weirdly shaped, so not sure where I would place the ceiling speakers. I've got a lot of height in this room, but the ceiling is slanted and pointed back at the TV, not the listener. Pictures provided.

Any thoughts? I was thinking having them up on the loft landing pointed down at the couch might work, but would it be super weird to have the speakers behind the TV?

Finally my old receiver was actually pretty high end for the time, so it has 100 watts per channel. The new one only has 75. For scale the TV is 82 inches. Am I going to be sad. I bought the Speakers like 18 years ago and they have worked great this whole time but I don't know what their efficiency is.
Thanks!
