“Resume Later” Games

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking on this subreddit for a while and have found the community to be very helpful. One thing I’ve been thinking of lately as a dad of two kiddos under 5: what are your favorite solo games that are relatively easy to let sit and resume later?

I’ve been getting into solo games because it helps me unwind and cut down on screen time. However, this is my conundrum: I sometimes want a bit “heavier” experience but I don’t always have a solid 1-2+ hours of continuous time to devote to a game (dad life). It is nice to have options between quick setup/playtime games like Tin Realm, Tiny Epic Galaxies, etc. But it would be nice to have options of some heavier games to sink my teeth into over a couple of days. For example, I’ve had some success leaving Marvel Champions and Dragons of Etchinstone on my table and resuming the next day (new to DoE, so I still play kind of slowly). I’ve been curious about maybe one of the Imperium games (like Classics?), although I’m not sure how difficult that is to jump back into after a day or two. Anyway, I’d love to hear some of your favorites!
