First ADV Bike

Hi Everyone,

I'm a rider who has been through a good amount of machines at this point. For the most part, I've owned mostly naked sport bikes. CB1000R, XSR700, MT10s, Z H2, and an XSR900. I've also owned a CRF250L Rally for a bit. My favorite machines have been Yamahas. I've been looking into getting something a bit more suited for some highway riding, and a bit of camping and small trail riding. By trails, I mostly mean gravel roads and maybe some dirt every once in a while.

I know its probably not the best bike for my use case, but I have been eyeballing the Tenere 700, since I already know I love that engine, and also the reliability. I am able to pretttyyy much flat foot the bike when wearing vans, but I might still do a lowering link for a bit more comfort when off the pavement.

My main concern is highway comfort and wind protection. Of all the bikes I've owned, the CRF250L Rally has been the most comfortable on the highway. Is the Tenere a good pick for this, or should I look in a different direction? I do also plan to beat the crap out of it lol.
