Smooth Muscle antibody

Is it possible to get a positive smooth muscle antibody titer 1:80 with fatty liver? I’m diagnosed, however maybe it’s also Autoimmune hepatitis?

Could this be internal hemorrhoids?

For the past week I have been experiencing this new onset “rectal pressure” that is extremely uncomfortable. The only way to relieve it when I’m sitting is to either bring my legs up to my chest, or sit with my left leg over my right left, on a tilted angle. When I wake up in the morning it’s not usually present or felt, but once I start getting on with my dad the pressure comes back. I do have a known hemorrhoid right on my anal canal, or right above it but this feels new, and sort of out of the blue. It’s not painful enough to cause me significant issues but it’s also extremely uncomfortable.

28 year old story of how I ended up having to need a colonoscopy

Hey there! I’m 28M, just recently turned 28 a few months ago. So closer to 28 than 29 😉 (not that it matters). Well, here’s my story of how a vasovagal syncopal episode has turned into needing a colonoscopy at age 28 (and endoscopy which was already done)

Back in December, exactly Xmas Eve, I was at work. I had a weird passing out event, something I have never felt in my life. It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Almost out of body, my face turned flush beat red, I lost hearing, ears ringing and dizzy. Very strange. It did go away and I didn’t full faint. My primary care had no clue to as what happened so she ran basic labs on me. Elevated White blood cells, which was just over the normal limit (in the 11’s) and a slightly elevated Bilirubin. I have never had blood work done before, so I was confused. She said not to worry about it so I didn’t.

Months pass and the heart palpitations that proceeded the passing out event stopped. That’s good, right? Anyway, it turned into an entire week of me not being able to eat, and I mean I could’ve ate 2 bites and felt full. This was EXTREMELY unlike me, and i IMMEDIATELY took this as a RED FLAG, especially paired with the 25 lbs weight loss in 2 weeks. I was convinced I was dying then and there. However, it did start to slow and eventually the rapid weight loss stopped. I also gained more of an appetite back, but I had an endoscopy to see what was happening. It found undigested food in my stomach from the night before, and a small ulcer in my GEJ that was negative for cancer. The report said the body and antrum and pylorus of my stomach looked completely normal and to run thyroid tests (which my TSH came back 0.008). So, abnormal.

In the middle of all of this I read an article one day online about “colorectal cancer in young adults surging” and one of the symptoms mentioned persistent diarrhea. I said ok, well maybe this is me? I’ve had diarrhea chronic I’d say for about 2 to maybe even 3 years. I went to the ER one day with some significant abdominal pain, and they ran a CT scan that said “no bowel wall thickening, no dilation and no signs of obstruction”. Cool. I thought I was in the clear and my Dr ran a “fecal calprotectin” on me to see if there was any inflammation in my intestines and it came back 42, which is under the threshold of 50. So confused. Well. Now I called my endoscopy dr back and set up a colonoscopy because now I’m having less bowel movements and still having diarrhea but it’s like constipation diarrhea. Very confusing. I’m trying not to overreact and I have NOT SEEN any signs of blood in my stool, besides once on TP and it was bright red dots and my dr bent me over the table and immediately stopped a hemmeroid with his own eyes.

I am not having any significant pain, maybe a few random sharp pains but that is normal for me. I am just concerned that my broken loose stools and diarrhea are not as normal as I thought they were. And now the new onset rectal pressure feeling is really freaking me out

“Lowest TSH I’ve ever seen”

Dude I went to the Dr for my issues lately which seems endless. All of the sudden I get this message in red on Mychart “TSH… ABNORMAL” and I click on this and read “Thyroid stimulating hormone - 0.008”

Tf? My dr called me and immediately referred me to an endocrinologist because “it’s the lowest I’ve ever seen”

Wtf is this? New onset pressure downtown?

Literally within the past week I have noticed my rapid onset diarrhea and going multiple times per day for years, has now turned into… pressure downtown and constipation? I’m extremely confused. I was having abdominal pain a month ago and underwent a CT, with nothing abnormal at all. It feels like my gastrocolic reflex just suddenly decided to turn off and I no longer go to the bathroom as much and I’m left with this strange “muffled” farting/gas with rectal pressure. Yes I have a known hemmrhoid literally right above my anus on the inside.
