Hi everyone, I’m going to enlist soon for BMT at BMTC Tekong （14 May） and I had a question regarding public holidays.

If a public holiday falls on a weekday (for example Hari Raya Haji on a Wednesday like 27 May), are recruits allowed to book out and go home as usual, or do we have to stay in camp since we are already in Tekong?

Also, if we stay in camp, do we get any form of compensation like an extra book-out day or is it just treated as a normal training day?

Would appreciate any insights from those who have gone through BMT recently. Thanks!
