My fiancée and I had the same question for each other almost every single day:

“What should we eat today?”

Then we found ourselves searching for recipes and ideas for hours.

We found some applications that helped with the decision, but none of them contained every feature that we needed. One of the main problems was that my fiancée speaks only Hungarian.

So I built an application for us, which contains the most desired functions:

- Easy and fun recipe searching and storing

- Storing our own recipes

- Adding ingredients to a shopping list

- A function that shows what we can make from the ingredients we already have at home (Sometimes we do not have time for shopping)

- A fun way to make decisions from our saved recipes

The main feature is how you find the recipes: just like on Tinder, you swipe the food left if you don’t like it, and you swipe right if you do. Once it swiped right, the recipe will be stored in your favourites.

Then I found some hungarian Facebook groups with a lot of people who were struggling with the same problem, so I decided to publish my app called “Mit főzzek ma?” which basically means “What to cook today?”

I already have 70 users, which is a big number for me, and I hope the app can help other people as well.

Currently, it supports both hungarian and english languages.
