I just got the game and am starting anew playthrough, my friend is telling me I must play on the highest difficulty to get everything in the game. Like he said some levels and events are tied to game difficulty? I googled it and just found a couple reddit threads discussing Expert being the best difficulty to play on the the experience the most of the game. Is this true or can I play on an easier difficulty and still access all of the game? I don't want to stress and get annoyed trying to play on a hard mode, I just wanna play the game. But I also don't wanna miss out on important or cool content either lol thoughts?

I'm on Act 1 Step 10 where you're tasked with defeating the Oscar guild strike boss to unlock the link forger glitch. I had no problem defeating Oscar and everything else but once I went into the glitch I quickly went through the first couple waves then they started timing the round and there was literally no way I could possibly kill them all, solo, in the allotted time.

I have an MK as my primary, exotic and maxed out, the katana also exotic/maxed, and then I have the Redline exotic/maxed out as well. Even fully kitted with all of that there was no way I could have possibly finished those timed rounds in the glitch so I'm wondering what I can even do this step solo or if it's even possible without a squad? Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction please? I have some questions.

Like is this impossible to do this solo? Are there better guns I should be using? Or is there a specific strategy or weapon I should be using to take them out in the allotted time? What's the best weapon in endgame right now? Like is there a meta I should be working toward? I'm very sorry for all the silly questions I'm new to all of this and really wanna at least finish act 1 if possible by myself lol
