So you know how HL1 and 2 where groundbreaking for their time of release and how the second introduced something innovative with it‘s physics puzzles?
So I guess the whole reason we haven‘t got HL3 is because there isn‘t such groundbreaking or innovative idea that would set it apart from the generic shooters or it‘s predecessors but fear not for I found the ultimate solution that could deliver HL3 to out doorsteps faste that you can say Steam Summer Sale.
I don‘t care about the next ultra innovative mechanic or graphics just give me the same immersive world and storytelling and I‘m fine with HL2 mechanics. Instead of making something that‘s Never been done before gameplay wise valve should release exclusively on Linux.
It would solve multiple problems with such an simple move. Linux would gain even more traction as gaming plattform and other developers could do the same.
I have a dream and it‘s a world with an at least equal market share of operating systems and availability of software on each of them.
