Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone had ever put annuals over their spring flowers later in the year (after they die back naturally)?
I put in a nice collection of crocus, hyacinth, daffodil, and tulips along the front of my house last fall and want to put something in the same spot for the summer/fall. Ideally something that won’t disturb the bulbs for next year.

It’s against my brick home and gets ~6hrs of AFTERNOON sun (ie v hot in July) in eastern Ontario. I was thinking of trying a mounting petunia and removing the root ball in the fall. Would that work? Are there other more ideal options? I feel like a have enough petunia as it is so ideally a more exciting annual?

My wife and I are taking the first steps to joining the EV world. We’ve started to research car options and spoken to HydroOne / our electrician to increase our amps to 200. My electrician wants to install the level2 charger in our house along with the upgrade and I was hoping I could benefit for the hive mind with regard to some questions I have.

1. Install the charger indoors or outdoors? Ideally I would like to leave the car on the driveway most days but appreciate the car/battery would prefer to be climate controlled in peak winter/summer. Are most cables thin enough that could run it under the garage door, or is that going to damage the cable? Where did you put the charger and what influenced your choice?

2. should I even pick the charger now, or do I need to pick the car first and ask our electrician to come back once we’re ordered the car? I like the ideal of using a Canadian product and grizzle-E seems to crank people up on this subreddit. Can this be used on most cars? We’re thinking Toyota bz, Subaru solterra, or Volvo ex30 if it matters, but are still early days of course.

3. ANYTHING else y’all have discovered since your install you wish you’d done changed?
