Northlands Sagas Trials of the Lost Skald
I have a question of the Northlands Sagas Trials of the Lost Skald Challenge 4: The Four Lamenting Horns of the Thrasvyr. Does the sea dragon wait until the 3rd horn is blown to attack? If so, what is the point of playing out the moving of the first three horns? The players might be delayed by the waves and they might fail at blowing the third horn which might give them a lamentable failure, but other than giving the player disadvantage on their next check, but would you just hand wave the first three horns up to when they blow the third horn? Also I don't see a consequence for 5 lamentable failures, is that correct? Also the text says not to tank with the sea dragon, does that mean that in the end we should just let them win the last challenge? I could easily see the party losing if the dragon was played straight up, blowing a couple of players off of the causeway and causing them to have to swim back 30 feet.
