What are runes in the new northland book?

I am thinking about buying it but i don't find anything that describes what the runes system even are on dndbeyond or anywhere else really after a basic google search. Can someone explain it to me, please?

Please check out my review of this adventure. I know Mike Welham is set to release some short seafaring tales as a stretch goal from Pirates and Plunder. Read about one of his earlier KP contributions here!

Northlands Worldbook for Fantasy agrounds

While I love having physical books my group plays almost exclusively on Fantasy Grounds. It does not appear that a Fantasy Grounds version of Northlands is available yet. Does anyone know if they intend to release one?

Cosmology question

In the kobold press cosmology, are the fey wild and showfell separate things, combined, or something else?

In the Midgard World Book it is written that there are 1000 elves in Doring, and then it is said that there are 5000 Arbonese elves in house Hirsh-Dammung. So how many elves are there in Midgard and Doring?

Why there's this concradiction

Kobold Press in the GenCon Family Fun pavilion area?

Was looking at events for Gen Con for ToV and looking up where the Kobold Press booth was located.

Is it a misprint that Kobold Press is in the "kids" area? Did something happen? They used to be near the other RPG areas in the early hundreds aisle numbers.

It was like that one year where is was Renegade games selling Vampire the masquerade there next to the Haba booth with hi ho cheerio and what not, and then Renegade had to leave the kids area next year.

It also looks like Kobold Press events got moved over to the Hyatt rather than the Marriott.

Did something happen where they got relegated, or weird vendor booth lottery rolled a 1 on their check?
