My group needs a pallet cleanser after an epic D&D campaign… recommendations for rules light, non fantasy game?

Yeah… so after a year and a half campaign… I’d like to run a rules light, non fantasy game for the crew.

Ideally, a game that has easy solid/clear mechanics; as opposed to a narrative driven RPG w ambiguous ‘you make the call’ mechanics.

Cheers

Good 3rd party supplements for firearms and black powder?

Looking to have forearms in my next campaign, and just wanted to look through alternatives and expansive info; and implement the best of it all in my game.
Cheers.

[spoilers c4e25] houserules so far?

Not so much, on the fly rulings, but.., *What houserules have we seen consistently implemented so far?

Off the top of my head…

*Rapiers seem to have the light property, or at least can be used w 2 weapon fighting?

*2014 grapple rules (and the old Counterspell?)

*Luck rolls, basically just roll a d20 test, to see how things are going.

*Augment Spells… not sure exactly how this works. But we’ve seen Augery, for example, require an Arcana check to manipulate the spell effect. ?

*on the spot, in game level ups.

What else ya got?
