As the title suggests, i’m wondering how in-depth you guys go when it comes to backstories for your Tavs? Me personally I usually write some stuff in my notes and spend a fair amount of time thinking of my characters backstory, their personality, goals, ambitions, insecurities, what they were doing before they were imprisoned on the nautiloid ect.

If this is also the case with you I would LOVE to hear what you guys have made. I really enjoy reading about other peoples characters and choices.

He resisted the worst of his urges for the most part (besides Alfira). But sadly he faltered when it mattered most and murdered Astarion in his sleep, the only person he ever loved. This led to him breaking off his warlock pact and choosing the life of a monk, dedicating the rest of his life to altruism. He was never able to forgive himself or come to grips with what he did, but moving forward he did right when it mattered.
