Portrait of a dog after Van Dyck

Fourth and final in my little series of dogs in fancy baroque dress. This one is, again, based on a portrait by Van Dyck that I have admired in the US National Gallery of Art. Because of the lighting on the photo of the dog that I chose to use, I had to tweak the lighting on the costume a bit. Last image is slightly blurry, but a photo I took in different (lower) lighting to try and eliminate the glare you can see in the first. Haven't yet found a good lighting setup for photographing oils in my flat.

Holbein Aqua Duo on SM size (approximately 6x9") canvas panel. Underdrawing done with gouache.
