Sorry if this is too much rambling, but,
Do I buy this? I've been looking for a promise ring for my girlfriend for a hot minute. She wants something with meaning, and something golden, and something with detail around at least most of the ring/not just a thin band, and this ring fulfills all of that. It's pretty much perfect. Butterflies are very important to both of us, and sapphires are my birthstone (this claims to be a sapphire, but I know it's likely not).
My point with this is that I've found like five other identical rings from five different sellers on Etsy, which tells me that this is probably a Dropshipper. More than anything, I'm worried that this ring'll break or wear within a few months, or that the 'gems' are just plastic or glass. I have zero issue with lab-grown, moissanite, zircon, and anything else. But glass? Plastic? Nuh uh! I can't even tell if that's overthinking or a valid concern, because this is pretty much the exact ring I want to get, but I also don't want to buy something that won't last. It's not like I have a big budget either- So I can't get something custom-made.
So basically, my big dilemma is, do I buy it or look for something else?
Edit: All the sellers claim to handcraft these. Yeah, right.
