Do you find you can control your dreams?

Fiance and I were talking about this recently. I told him I can control my dreams and he said that was another level. Curious if other 8th housers can control their dreams?

Deciding b/w Masters programs

Both are at my alma mater. One of them requires me to take additional courses to satisfy the requirement and it's more technical and hands-on/research driven. The other is what many people who have my degree do because there are no other additional courses needed to be accepted -it's an MSIT with business/technology overlap. Let's assume all the courses will be paid so cost is not a factor but obviously time invested and ROI are important to me. I don't know that I want to go into leadership (yet) which is what MSIT is designed for. I always imagined myself doing something exciting and cutting edge but I'm grateful for the stability my job and the MSIT route could provide. I suppose I could also potentially do an MBA.

What would you do given the circumstances? Do the more technical one even though it will require more time to satisfy the pre reqs or just the MSIT and trust that (exciting) opportunities will arise with networking/connections?

Interested to hear about others experiences in choosing their MS, their why and how it played out for you.
