So I’ve been playing a variety of games lately. And when I was in the middle of a session, the message for an overheated PS5 came up, so I turned it off and thought nothing of it. (I was playing GTA online for reference).

Then it happened again. I started a match on FC26 (it’s free now, sue me) and before I could even kick off, my console gets super loud and the message pops up again. But I had just turned on my ps5. So I felt my console, and it was cold. Like it wasn’t overheated.

So I’m very confused. Why is my PS5 getting loud and then claiming it’s overheated, when it is cool to touch? Is something damaged?
