I live next to a business that has their septic tank close by my property. For over a week, a very loud noise from their tank has been going off. I assume its an alarm, and its horrible. I hear it over my TVs, music, fans, etc.
I probably wouldn't be too worried, but I can hear it 24/7 inside my house with windows closed. Id like to open a couple windows but nope. I cant be outside without it piercing my ears. I dont know anything about septic tanks so I wanted to see if it could be anything they can fix quickly.
I called them days ago, another neighbor did as well, and the noise is still happening. Im hoping this isnt the new normal, could they be willingly ignoring it because the noise doesnt bother them? I've lived here 4 years and I've never heard this before, so Im really hoping it is an alarm and not a standard noise that'll never be fixed. Any insight is appreciated!
