Keep or yeet?

Bought this 1990 NA for $500 two years ago. The kid who had it couldn't get it running and didn't have a title. An hour after getting it home and retiming it, we had it running. I've since acquired a title using the tow-yard trick.

Originally, this was just going to be a flip, but my wife claimed it and it's currently her track car. We are considering selling it, though, mainly because of the body. The rocker panels and all four quarters are rusted, the front fenders are chewed up from a previous owner running tires that were too large too, and the soft top is in horrendous condition.

Cosmetics aside, it's a solid-running car. It's even getting a 2000 BP4W 1.8L and 6-speed swap this winter after I picked up the engine/transmission combo for free on Facebook Marketplace.

The other reason I'm considering selling it is garage space. When we bought it, my wife was driving a mid-2000s Corolla, but she's recently upgraded to something much newer and, unsurprisingly, wants to keep it in the garage. My RX-8 will also be better suited for her next year. I'm adding an adjustable race seat (it's currently fixed), and I'm replacing the T56 and super-heavy clutch with an 8HP70. The current clutch is a lot for my petite wife to actuate, so we could potentially just share the RX-8 for autocross and track days.

If we keep the Miata, I'll spend the time and money to get new rockers, fenders, and a soft top from Moss, weld everything in, and repaint it at home with my LVLP gun and some single-stage paint.

Curious what y'all think. Is this Miata too rusty to save, or would you keep it and start dumping money into a second project car? I'd also have to start looking at storage units for the winter so my wife's daily can live in the garage.

Typical engine reseal price?

Got the engine (1.6L) and transmission out of my wife's 1990 Miata this weekend. Looking to reseal the motor, do a waterpump and timing belt, as well as new clutch kit to replace the glazed one from teaching my wife to drive stick.

Priced everything out on RockAuto today (minus the crank bolt and keyway) and all the seals, pump, belt, pulleys, etc and clutch was $612 with shipping and before tax.

Doesn't seem like a bad price but wasn't sure as I've been out of the Miata game for about 6 years now until recently.

All gaskets/seals are Fel-Pro or Mahle, clutch is an Exedy OEM replacement, water pump and timing belt are Gates. This price also includes front and real seals for the transmission as well.

2008 Tundra's empty distance not matching actually fuel level.

Put $30 of gas in my 2008 Tundra this morning since I was running low. Noticed the distance to empty calculation never changed after adding gas. Trucks never done this before, curious if this is known issue and if there's a DIY fix.

Fuel level gauge went up after putting gas in (level showing about 1/3 a tank) so I don't think it's level sensor but that's just a guess.

Any tips appreciated
