We had a straight flush of Miata’s at my 4th of July party yesterday.
Someone on Reddit told me they make Voltron if you get them all together but now I realize they were just messing with me ;)

Hey everyone!
I’ve been getting super into 3D printing lately and realized it’s basically a superpower for filling in the blanks on our cars. I’ve been cooking up a few things for mine and wanted to see what kind of custom stuff you all have printed!
Are any of you guys designing or printing your own interior mods, fixes, or fun little accessories? Drop some pictures or ideas of what you've made, I'd love to see them!

My drift miata running from my buddies bimbam somewhere in the Polish forest
Just traded my is300 for this miata which needs more work than I was anticipating. Two cylinders are giving about 140psi one was at 90 then shot up to 130 after putting some oil in the cylinder. The other cylinder couldn’t have the tester threaded in because previous owner made his own threads…. I would like to buy a block and start building it for a moderate turbo setup. Looking to make 200-300 wheel “reliably”. Thinking about a 1.8 swap wondering if an na8 block with bp4w head is the easiest way to get a 1.8 into an na6 or if going straight bp4w would be easier. Only issue retaining the 1.6 is I would like to drive it as is for the summer but would like a head start on building the motor. Any suggestions are welcome and if anyone knows a good machine shop in northern New England that would be much appreciated!
If anyone’s considering one of these kits I can recommend it, makes changing gears more enjoyable and suits the look of the NA interior very nicely. It’s very well made and once set up properly doesn’t interfere with the operation of the shifter at all, it just adds a little bit of extra texture to the overall experience. I’ve had this installed on my car for a few months now and had to tweak the position of the gate a couple of times to prevent vibration at higher revs, but now it’s perfect. Obviously it doesn’t improve performance at all, but it does elevate fun.
"Est belle" is just short in french for "she is beautiful". This it what my family, coworkers and even random people at red lights tell me.
So, there it is. Ordered by the end of February, received by the end of may just in time for the nice weather here in Quebec. I was thinking about getting one for the last 2 years and finally pulled the trigger.
My first impressions... For someone that always drove very normal cars (my other car is actually a KIA Seltos), that thing is something else. It is playful, nimble, it loves tight corners and turns. Also, roads aren't exactly nice where I live and I am seriously surprised how comfortable the driving experience is.
It is the answer.
Picked up my new NC3 yesterday. Great service from Pitlane Performance in the UK. Already had my first wave from a fellow MX5 driver.
I've read numerous post that says lighting output is terrible on flush mounts. This was probably the case with halogen housings. I want to dispell this rumor, with modern projectors they are amazing
It's a parody of a famous Japanese racehorse / anime character named Tokai Teio.
Posted a week or so ago asking about Mazda3 turbo to an ND.
I was so excited to test drive the ND finally and seeing it up close the first time was great. It is much much smaller in person. It really does feel like a toy being inside. I thought my Mazda3 hatchback was already cramped but the miata takes it. I love it though. I love being snug. Also, I did not expect to like the RF. I was set on the soft top but damn, the RF looks good in person. I realized that I probably would be mostly roof up since I was sweating because of the sun lol
Now for the drive, it wasnt as life changing as I thought it would be. It was fun but it wasn't "night and day" difference fun compared to my Mazda3 but more like "apple and oranges". The pull of the torque and awd of the Mazda3 turbo is really apparent but the weight of the miata is also a big factor. After the test drive, I really felt how heavy the 3 is compared to the miata. It really was a different type of feeling for me and it isn't comparable. Theyre both fun in their own ways. Miata as a fun car and Mazda3 as a jack of all trades.
What really is stopping me though is that I like driving with my wife and daughter. The Miata couldnt provide that, sadly. We have a minivan so there is no isse with space but I like driving windy roads with them and the minivan might tip over.
Even then, I still cant stop thinking about the Miata. Maybe in the future
Me and a friend of mine are working on a short film and this is some of the footage we got.
Hi, after a storm with rain my drivers side was completely flooded. I took as much water as possible but its still wet, going to my mechanic tomorrow since my seat wouldn’t come out. Car drives fine. But I am confused how did it happen, soft top seals are fine, I am suspecting the two holes behind my seat behind the carpet was the reason. Because these miniscule drains where you put the jack in was clogged and like 10liters of water came out of there. What should i do?
I found a local 2009 manual soft top today and bought it and it’s so fun! I haven’t driven a manual in like 20 years and it’s such a blast.
I almost bought a 2019 gorgeous RF but figured I didn’t need to spend 20k for a fun toy car.
Anyway, got this for 5k.
While the cops were out looking for drunks on the highways they weren’t in the mountains so we were able to get a fun run in the morning
Hi all!
I’ve been saving up for quite some time and finally reaching my target. Currently driving a Suzuki Swift Sport (2014, 2nd gen ZC32S) and my goal has always been to upgrade to a Miata. For a long time I was discussing to wether get the NC or ND RF.
After visiting several car shows and seeing the cars in person (plus literally watching all available YouTube videos) I’ve decided to go for the ND RF. 2019 and onwards is the models I’m searching for. Reasoning for choosing the RF:
I’m planning to rustproof the underneath of the car as one of the first ”mods” as well.
My question to current owners, anybody driving theirs daily? How challenging is the car to live with during winter season?
Any other issues worth thinking of before going for it?
Many thanks in advance 🙏
