Best $13 investment!

ND owners, do yourself a favor and buy yourself some storage right now. https://a.co/d/08GwfrUS
I finally have a convenient place to put my iPhone pro max. I wish I would have done this on day 1, not day 365.

Tire buldge on 17x7" wheels. Pics?

I know a buldged tire doesn't perform as well as a slightly streched tire, but I think it looks way better. Can you show me some pictures of your meaty tires on a 17x7 and let me know what tire and size you're running?

Center cap refinishing tips?

I am refinishing a set of Honda Pilot wheels with a machine cut face. Any suggestions for the center caps other than careful sanding and 2k clear? Getting the oxidation out between the H logo seems impossible.

Voice chat for free personal account?

In the new unified iOS Copilot app I lost the ability to use voice chat on my free personal account. I still have it on my paid work account. I still have voice chat on the old windows app. Anyone know what Microsoft’s plan is? If they drop voice, I’ll drop them. I have a friend named Claude who’s free to chat.

People in technology, do I take the offer?

I've worked in technology my entire 25-year career. About 2 months ago I was laid off from a large global household name company, large technology org. I would like to go back to another large enterprise, no offers yet, had a few interviews. I got an offer from a regional small-medium business, tiny technology team,10 people. Compensation is slightly lower, with no growth path.
What would you do?

  • Take the job and continue to apply and interview with other companies. Move on ASAP.
  • Take the job, settle in, and ride it out for 1 year+ then look around.
  • Pass on the job and keep looking

Severance runs out in 3 months, after that I could float a few more months before it would get financially dicey.

Appreciate the love from Doug!

From a guy that gets to drive a lot of incredible cars it's heartwarming to hear such high praise.

Interview length?

How long would you expect a 2nd and 3rd round interview to last for a senior IT job? They scheduled two 1:1 hour long interviews on the same day. I’m not a super chatty guy so I find it intimidating to fill up a hour talking about myself. How short is a bad sign?

World IPv6 Launch Day 14th Anniversary (June 2026) - IPv6 Update?

In honor of the 14th Anniversary of World IPv6 Day and World IPv6 Launch Day - Wikipedia tomorrow I thought I'd do another check in. Have any of us IPv6-hound diehards actually had it turned on yet? After 14 years of waiting have any of us weary and excited few actually been satisfied by Ziply's promises? I've yet to see celebratory post, so I assume the answer is "no".

I've been in the same house with the same fiber this whole time (Verizon to Frontier to Ziply) with similar promises along the way and it's never materialized. I'm a glutton for punishment.

2025, 7K miles, creaky front suspension?

I'm just a bit over 7,000 miles on my 2025 GT soft top. I started to notice some strange creaking, or cracking noises coming from my front suspension. It is most noticeable when when driving slowly, like parking lot speed. I think it is happening all the time, but I just can't hear it at faster speeds. The car is stock, except for taking it to a good alignment shop and having them set the Flyin' Miata ND alignment specs?

Do other people notice the same creaky, poping sounds in their NDs?
Is it possible the agressive alignment is making the suspection noiser, or they did something wrong at the shop?
