I have a 2007 Honda CRV ex. I want to take advantage of the warm weather while we still have it. Should I replace these now, or can I wait until spring? I have no long trips planned and I mostly do highway driving on the weekends only. Probably do about 10,000 km in the next 6 months. I've been hearing a squeal sometimes but not sure if it's from cold starts or what. Thanks all
Hello there, the car is a 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE with 90,000 miles. I don’t think my drain holes are clogged at all. I think it’s the actual seal holding the glass. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Can the seal be replaced?
Bought on Amazon. I wasn’t thinking. This Chinese oil plug gasket didn’t last between one oil change. Thank god for low oil level sensors.
Hi, I have an engine misfire mystery I could use some help solving! 2006 Honda crv. Car first started rumbling and check engine started flashing while driving up a mountain road. Pulled over and checked code and it said cylinder 2 misfire. I did a lot of research and was nervous driving it all the way home the mountain road so I had AAA tow it. The next morning I did these tests:
1. Erased codes. Took out coil 2 (carefully placed to keep track), took out coil 3 and switched them (so now cylinder 3 has coil 2 and cylinder 2 has coil 3). Took for test drive, rumbled, check engine came on, OBD still says only cylinder 2 misfire.
2. Erased codes. Put the coils back in their respective cylinder. This time I took out spark plugs for 2 and 3, switched them, torqued correctly, etc, test drive, rumbled, engine light comes on, says cylinder 3 misfire. So this points to cylinder 2 spark plug being bad.
3. Got 4 new iridium spark plugs (exact same brand as before). Made sure to install and torque correctly. Took for test drive. Still rumbled, check engine flash, obd says only cylinder 3 misfire. Checked the coils were all tight/secure, everything on correctly, another test drive, still cylinder 3 misfire.
Any ideas?
Picked up a rust free 93 miata last week and during the tear down and overall inspection of the vehicle I found some frame damage on the driver side rear frame runner. Looks like maybe it was backed into a curb and the tow hook took a hit. The rear end sheet metal looks untouched other then the tow hook tower being bent inwards but obviously if you look underneath you can see the buckle. From my understanding crumple zones are like fuses in an electrical system so this should be all the frame damage from this accident and my rear suspention geometry should be unaffected? Hopefully.
So I accidentally left my sunroof open while it rained for about three hours my seats are lower, but my floors got wet and part of my roof are wet. What should I do ?
I've had this can in my garage for like, 15 years. I'm sure it's older than that. Is it still safe to use or should I discard it? There's no expiration date on it from what I can see. I have a 2007 Honda CRV.
My godmother's car. I think the rotors are warped because of the set screws being broken is that possible? And should I even venture to figure out how to remove the set screws once I get new rotors and pads?
My headlights are not very bright, and when I look at the cover, it looks quite cloudy. I can't quite tell whether the streaks are inside or outside, but they don't clean off easily.
Is it possible to get the covers clearer?
How does this happen anyway? I bought this car used, it didn't happen while I've owned it.

My wife's 2011 Mini Cooper S Countryman started running rough and had a check engine light, so I changed the spark plugs. I just changed these like 5 years ago and apparently they are already due again. This time, there is heavy oil saturation on the threads. Am I right to assume that she needs a new valve cover gasket? She's at 176,000 km and to my knowledge has never been replaced.

My wife's 2011 Mini Cooper S Countryman has a flooding issue. I researched it online and it said the sunroof drains and cowl drains might be clogged, so I unclogged them. Now the floor boards are soaked and I can't figure out how to drain it out. I read I had to remove the A pillar to see if the drain hose got dislodged? Or peel back the fender cover and look in there? What would I be looking for if I decide to remove the cover? Anyone have experience with this? I was planning on using a wet vac to suck it up but I don't want it to reappear again if it rains.

I bought a radiator from advance auto parts about 2 years ago and threw away the receipt like a dumbass, now the radiator has a 2 inch long crack at the top

Is it at all possible to get a warranty from them if I used my phone number when I purchased the item?
Or can they lookup the transaction or am I SOL
