How do you make the best out of tier 3 University (btech cse) in your hometown ?

GLA mathura(India). Got admission there as the last option. Missed out on galgotias, wasn't sure about other universities which are not familiar to me. Jaypee demanded a higher academic score. So here I am, worried about the future of college life and beyond. I was indifferent to any career path but btech cse has a kind of job security/demand so I opted for this. Don't know how to make the best out of this. How difficult will it be to outcompete the oversupply of engineers and lend into a better place. I want to have a life. Should I also be considering a degree after this say going for CAT or GATE to have a good boost and exposure? Should I learn Japanese alongside and hope for a job abroad?

Guide me, you all! I am pessimistic and a bit anxious...

What do you do when you get served total abomination on the food plate at a new food joint? 🤔

I was looking to grab a quick bite(which I call lunch) after the classes. An array of shops were there and as I was glancing at the menu boards, one of them came to hand me the menu as they were new. I saw the menu and wasn't looking for something expensive so I chose poha. The owner, with a kind of stern face, sounded a bit abrasive with her workers. Well whatever, after a wait I got my poha served. And it was......blasphemy. I was frozen as it was handed over.....and then he sprinkled some pomegranate over it. You can't be serious?

I stood there, looked at it for some moment unsure what to do with it? I wasn't even sure if it was poha, he cooked (stir fried prolly) it into upma type shii with capsicum and tomato.

I dug in and finished it constantly thinking that if only she asked me once how it tasted, oh my, I'll let her know it fr.

She didn't, I traveled my way back home and here I am.

Share your experiences!!!!!!
