Advice?

Hello! I am getting my first (personal) bearded dragon tomorrow and I am GEEKED!! I grew up around reptiles and never had less than 3 bearded dragons in my house from born to 18y/o. That being said it was a lot of just holding them, filling water, providing greens and removing dead insects from the enclosures. Everything else was done by my step mom. I did get some advice from her but you can never have too much, right? It is a baby one and I got everything you need. So, if you got any advice on caring and owning one of these awesome creatures, please let me know! Thank you!!

Hi all!

On a trip to San Jose for Genesis X a few years back I believe I left my switch and about $500 worth of games in the hotel. Honestly was devastated, so many amazing games but most of all my 3 years of my animal crossing island. Countless hours put in for trades, turnips , doing the critterpedia, blah blah blah. Anyways, my girlfriend is really wanting Tomodachi life so we are buying a switch this week so she can play it. This got me maybe wanting to give New Horizons a shot again. I have since found out that Nookazon and Turnip Exchange are dead in the water for the most part. This has been my biggest thing about coming back so I ask. What’s the current landscape for trading and turnips like? Do you think it’s worth coming back in my situation? I guess I just need some words of encouragement haha. Thanks!

Appreciation post I guess… I was never a big anime guy. Ever. I watched Sword Art Online and AoT on Tunami as a kid and that was the extent. To be as transparent as possible, my cousins and people at school completely turned it off for me. The Naruto running to the lunch room, throwing random Japanese words into any sentence, etc. A few years ago my cousin took me to see the Entertainment District movie and I was blown away. The fight, the art style, the voices, the dynamic of hashira and upper moons, all of it. I remember seeing Doma and saying “I have to know more about this guy and these 12 demons” Finally about a month ago I started Demon Slayer and wow. Rewatching the Entertainment District arc I literally cried. Not at anything to do with the content, but because of how peak it was. I’ve never seen anything like this. Laugh and point all you want because it is funny haha, but I was so overwhelmed by emotion at the thought that I just robbed myself of all the wonderful anime there is in the world. For some dumb predisposed narrative about it. My eyes are open now, I just finished the anime tonight (will be watching the Infinity Castle movie tomorrow) and I am hooked. I know Demon Slayer is probably super common and surface level, but I do think in a way it’s perfect, the depth, the story, the characters, it’s so easily digestible. If you’re a person like me, give it a shot, you will not regret it. I’ve never seen anything like this, don’t even get me started on the character development. This is also to say thank you to all of you here! Without this subreddit I probably wouldn’t have the depth of interest I do have. I just want to soak everything that has to do with this show up. I can’t wait to see what’s next in my anime journey but at least for now, Demon Slayer was and is perfect, truly one of a kind. Now I’m honestly worried that this will ruin other anime for me! Anyways, thank you for coming to my TED talk
