Lilac Trees In Stabłowice
Hi y'all, I'm an American who will be taking my fiancée to Wrocław within a few years as part of a larger honeymoon trip to Europe. Her grandmother was born in Wrocław when it was still Breslau up in the Stabłowice area. I want to take my fiancée to the site where their house was before they fled the incoming Soviet invasion in January of 1945, whether or not it is still standing. The only issue is I have very little to go off of as to where the house is/was. She knows her grandmother lived next door to her uncle and that he grew strawberries, and that at least part of her grandmother's farm was bordered by several lilac trees.
I'm not expecting much, if anything, but I figured I'd reach out to y'all and seeing if anyone is familiar with such a place or if such a place is long gone. Thank you in advance!
