I think.. Gooseworx made Jax transgender purposely to stir up drama within the fandom.
hear me out on this because the timeline of how this all dropped makes absolutely no sense otherwise.
for a bit jax being trans fem was just a random twitter and reddit headcanon. People were arguing over tiny details like him getting mad about the maid outfit in episode 5, his room being pink and whatnot.
so.. instead of putting a clear, normal (AND WELL NUANCED) confirmation in the show (no, I do NOT want it to be stated within the show itself, but definitely written there somehow in a way that is tasteful and makes sense), we get the isnt she lovely song, the bow on jax's head, and like.. weird egg dialogue?
then gooseworx goes on twitter and drops artwork of jax presenting as a girl with the caption "jax if she wasn't a huge piece of shit," basically dropping the bomb that jax is canonically transgender. then the voice actor jumps in on tiktok and twitter to confirm it too?
why hide it behind ultra-subtle "egg" symbolism in the show and then wait to confirm it online when engagement would peak?
pretty sure she just hates her fans, rightfully so at times, but if it was to purposely stir conflict then that's a pretty low blow.
